What is the Help Connection?

The Help Connection basically offers two services. The first is a mediator/counseling service. If you have a problem with another member of the guild, then please feel free to neomail us and we can act as an unbiased mediator. If the situation is solved in an amicable way, we will reward each person with a small gift of thanks. If a member of the guild is having problems and/or just needs someone to talk to, we will always be there to offer help, guidance and advice. If we can help in any way, then please get in contact with us. If you feel that you can act maturely as a mediator/counselor, then please fill in the form below and we will roster you on a weekly basis to help the members of the guild. 

The other service that the Help Connection offers is an extension of the Packages-For-The-Poor Day. There are many poor Neopians that get disheartened due to their circumstances. This service will supply the poor with a package made up of food and other items that may be of help to them, and/or spoil them. We class poor Neopians as those who have 2000np and under. This service will be available to all Neopians, however guild members will be looked after first. Please donate items such as food, toys, etc to sarirose. We will display the items we receive into our shop. Neomail us if you require any of these basic items and we will give them to you (these are extra items on top of the poor package). If there is a specialty item that you would like, and we have it in stock, then please let us know. However only one specialty item will be given to each poor Neopian. Please do not try to take advantage of this service as you will be taking away from a truly needy person. Please note that the Packages-For-The-Poor Day will still continue on the 28th of every month. 

How do I help?

Please fill in the application form below if you would like to volunteer as a mediator or counselor for a week. If you don't want to use the form, then please neomail one of us. Supply as much information as you can so that we can identify the ways in which you can best help this service. When your services are required, either wildmoonchildor sarirose will neomail you with the details. If you don't want to volunteer for these positions, then please donate to NewbiesInNeed so that the poor can still benefit from your kindness. If you know of someone in need, or who requires our services, then please point them in our direction.

Extra Information.

  • Please be aware that only members who are 18 years and over can act as a mediator and/or counselor.
  • The counseling and mediation services are only available to the guild members.
  • Members are only signed up in these roles for one week at a time. If you wish to continue working as a mediator and/or counselor, then please remember to sign up each week.

Are you already down to the bone of your account? Are your friends sick of hearing you beg for Neopoints? Is there an item you want to buy but just can't afford it at the moment? Well you have come to the right place! This is the IOU area of the site! It lends NPs to Neopians for as long as they need them! Just follow the directions:

  1. You must be a member of the Newbies In Need Guild.

  2. Send a neo message to sarirose saying how many NPs you would like to be leant and how long you will need them for. (You may only have a lend up to 2,000 at a time! Lends may only last three weeks.) The message must also say the items you will trade for the NPs. (The items are just a sure way of knowing you will come back and give back the NPs. The items will be given back when the NPs are returned. The items must approximately equal the amount of NPs you would like to borrow)

  3. Please then wait for a reply. The neomessage will contain a lot number of where the trade will be held.

  4. When the time you have requested is up I will send you a neomessage requesting the NPs back. If you fail to reply in FOUR days the items will be free on my half to sell or use in any way.

*Remember you may only have one request for NPs at a time.
